Who will sort out the situation in Ukraine? Russians, Ukrainians and Americans?
Since 1990, we have witnessed the destruction and disintegration of the fourth state in Europe - the former Soviet Union,Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and most recently Ukraine. The Soviet Union disintegrated in December 1991, despite a referendum in which citizens of the“Empire of Evil”, "as Ronald Reagan called it, called for its preservation. Neither West nor the USA were against it, on the contrary, they were happy. They supported the referendums on independence of the Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In Czechoslovakia or Yugoslavia referendum was not listed, there was such political and economic pressure from West, especially Germany, much stronger than the courage of politicians to offer citizens a referendum. Yugoslavia disintegrated bloodily and unconstitutionally, Czechoslovakia, fortunately, by a constitutional law and in peace, but under a cloud of civil war in Yugoslavia and local wars in the former USSR, in which the U.S. and the West took an active part. Disintegration of Yugoslavia was even highlighted by Slovenes and Croats in Ljubljana and Zagreb, who on squares sang the German national anthem as Germany recognized independence of Slovenia and Croatia. At that time, it was a sincere expression of gratitude toGermany for “national freedom and independence.“
Meanwhile West (the EU), Canada or the U.S. did not fight for the integrity of the USSR or Yugoslavia. They made Czechoslovakia a rather unique example how to disintegrate two nations in a civilized way”. They did not even fight for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia , when they “cut off “ occupied Kosovo and Metohija in 1999 , nor for the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation which during the Yeltsin era when Russia was threatened by various Muslim and anti-Russian militant religious and military groups. The vision of disintegration Yeltsin´s of Russia and the post - Milosevic  “small Yugoslavia”, from which, due to the referendum with very tight results, with the assistance of the Albanian votes, they managed to separate Montenegro and  the state from the Adriatic Sea, was much stronger than the sense of international law.
The very same USA, Canada, and the very same EU, however, now are vehemently fighting for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, which is already half a year suffering from a difficult political and economic crisis. They punish Russia by sanctions and harsh rhetoric for recognizing the clear results of the March referendum in the Republic of Crimean and in the city of Sevastopol – to leave Ukraine and become a member of the Russian Federation. “The  Father Brown” in the White House, corrupted government in Canada and the European twenty-eighthave not lavished criticism of Russia since then using “macho” and anti-Russians propaganda speeches. They accuse Moscow of the annexation of the Crimea.Well, let´s not forget to add that citizens of Crimea are probably the only political nation in Europe, who welcomed their annexation „or return to the Russian homeland” in a very cheerful way of celebration. Let's add in a peaceful and democratic period, because, “the celebrations of annexation” have been experienced by our ancestors, when, for example, in Austria, France and the Czech Sudetenland welcomed Hitler and his SS. Or in southern Slovakia, where the Vienna arbitration was praised by 1938 ethnic Hungarians who celebrated their return to Hungary. But at that time non-governmental democracy, but fascism were ruling the world and the World War II was approaching, in which the Germans for some time, “liberated”  the Russian part of Ukraine from the Soviet Union.
Many of American, West and Central European media do not want to see and hear the truth. They overly criticize Russia and ignore the serious defects of the Interim Government of Ukraine and the temporary Ukrainian president Turchynov. Not Russia, but the leaders of the “Ukrainian Revolution” do not respect the Ukrainian Constitution. And of course the U.S. and European Union member states who organized and later recognized the armed coup in Ukraine on February 21, 2014, when, in fact, they took responsibility for the further development in Ukraine. Who can advise and provide Kiev advice concerning its present conditions, its pro-European and anti-Russian policy? Washington and Brussels. And so they are together with all European 28 (including Slovakia ) responsible for the chaos in Ukraine, significant deterioration in living standards, a revival of fascism, brutal violence and anti-Semitism, a bad security situation, the collapse of health, political purges, violence against Ukrainian and Russian opposition in the country, leaving behind thousands of citizens abroad. The question is whether such developments in Ukraine is what ordinary citizens in the European Union really wished for. I dare to say not.
Again, we were wrong when we thought with the hope that Americans, Canadians and Europeans put pressure on Jacenuk´s government, Turchynov´s theatrical parliament, in which certainly very small majority of members passes the resolutions in order to obey the Geneva Agreement of April on „de-escalation “ of tensions in Ukraine. Euro Majdana´s parties have not disappeared from Kiev, have been disarmed neither radical groups of the Right Sector and Ukrainian nationalists. As the February agreement fails to comply with the settlement of the crisis and neither does the Geneva one. First, who questioned it very quickly, was Barack Obama personally, having said that he does not believe Russia ...
The Kievan power subsequently declared that the Geneva Agreement do not apply to Majdana or government buildings and squares in Western Ukraine. Ukrainian, American and European public who suffer from black-and-white information warfare and information blockade, have suddenly quickly understood that the Geneva agreement covers only Russian “terrorists, separatists and radicals” in the south-east of Ukraine. Based on the assurances from Russia, that they would not send the army to Ukraine, Turchynov quickly dressed his Majdanas and the National Guard in uniforms and after the consultation with American advisers, he sent them to Donetsk and Luhansk. Later, he sent 11,000 soldiers and 160 tanks there. Why? To break the political and military resistance of ethnic Russians. Meanwhile, along the Ukrainian-Russian border,  in a propaganda way, kilometers of trenches were milled and panicwas spread that Russia wants to militarily invade Ukraine. Meanwhile, some units of the Ukrainian army deserted and joined ethnic Russians. In Poland and Latvia with a big bang media other U.S. special forces landed in order to “give a hand” to Ukraine  when Russia invades it,  and thus Russia would “jeopardize” the other neighboring NATO member states...Polish prime minister even said that his country can take up to 10,000 U.S. soldiers.
For over three months, the government in Kiev has been fighting againstits own citizens, especially ethnic Russians, who refused to recognize the coup, the legitimacy of the parliament, the policy of new Russo phobia, economic blockade and the dictates of the Ukrainian armed, “Benderas and fascists”. These ethnic Russians and their deputies in the parliament initially demanded a dialogue with Kiev, wanted to solve economic and social problems. However, they remained unheard. Later, they were beaten by Majdanas and accused of betrayal of “Ukrainian interests” as made it clear that ethnic Russians do not want to be part of the EU or NATO. Whereas Kiev did not communicate with them (having replaced only the post oligarchgovernors), they decided to create their,  national authorities „army”.  According to the example of anti –Janukovych and pro-European Maidana, they captured and occupied state and regional administrative buildings, police stations, military depots in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. They had created so-called South-Eastern Army. After the Russian mass demonstrations held on April 7, 2014, the Autonomous Community of parliaments in Donetsk and Kharkov declared, “the Donetsk National Republic”and “the Kharkov National Republic“. They built barricades in front of office buildings, and the driveways in several towns and villages. They announced to the world that they were leading “the national (Russian) uprising” against Kiev and Ukraine federal constitutional arrangement. “ We have lived here for centuries, this is our land, no one will take it, we do not want any fascists or Benderas”, they said thus explaining their actions.
It is a paradox that the world and European media put constant pressure, especially, on Russia and do not push on Kiev to follow the agreements. This is logical - to criticize Kiev means to criticize Washington, London, Brussels, Bonn and Paris. The world has to believe thatfor all the present evil in Ukraine only Russia is to be blamed, Russia and its special units that must therefore be isolated from Ukraine and from Europe. This media campaign coincides much more important facts - serious deficits of democracy in Ukraine and democratic regime that governed the Americans and Western diplomats. Their interests are not to hold early parliamentary elections ora government of a broad coalition. And both Jacenuk and Turchynov could do it anyway if they really supported the Ukrainian interests and wanted to maintain the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Nevertheless, the purpose is probably rather different – to have after May 24, 2014 a new puppet for the presidency, which would legitimize the new situation and international power in Ukraine. And he might invite international troops.  But can the presidential elections be democratic and free providing you act in time of civil war and ongoing conflicts in the south-eastern Ukraine? And if the elections are boycotted by ethnic Russians?
The reality these days is that Kiev is not interested in leading standard political dialogue with the opposition and representatives of the regions. That's why it has not come up with proposals to resolve the crisis, offering only, “anti-terrorist operation”, but which certainly will not break the resistance of ethnic Russians or support the idea of a future reconciliation between Ukrainians and Russians. Kiev much yet wants an amendment to the Constitution by the debate on the future national status of the country. It is a mess, and inability to govern. It is clear that the federalization of Ukraine will weaken Kiev political power and strengthen the economic independence of stronger South-Eastern regions, without which Ukraine will not survive as a state. Ethnic Russians know it very well and therefore they insist on the 11 May 2014 referendum on sovereignty of Donetsk and of Luhansk. Kiev, the Americans and the EU have declared that the referendum is against the law and that its results will not be recognized. No wonder that whatever is Russian and pro-Russian, is illegal and undemocratic, and all that is in turn anti-Russian, is only legitimate, but also democratic and fair.
