Russian Marshall Plan
The Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol are once again the part of Russia. Many citizens of Crimea, finally, lived to see, crying from happiness and joy. After a successful referendum and fast integration into the Russian Federation, many said:“We have finally returned home, it should have happened 23 years ago, when the Soviet Union collapsed. Other ones pointed out that over the past twenty yearsno Ukrainian government had really cared about the Crimea, its problems, development, and economy, financial and social needs. Therefore, the Crimean Republic, which is visited by 5- 6 thousand tourists every year, was significantly “malnutritioned” and it now has a budget deficit of 55 billion rubles (approx. 1.2 billion Euros). For the Crimeans, the Ukrainian citizenship, however, is the issue of the past, and they are already looking forward to a new “Russian Marshall Plan ", which is rather ambitious for the time being.According to it, the entire Crimea will graduallyturn into a special economic zone that will offer investors tax and tariff concessions. This year, the Russian government wants to invest 243 billion rubles (5.5 billion Euros) and will offset the current deficit of the Republic and the port city of Sevastopol. The objective of the Russian government is to change the Crimean peninsula into the self-sufficient republic using its resources for the further development. Large investments are expected in the fields of transport and road infrastructure and in particular, the construction of strategic Kerch Bridge that will connect Crimea with the Russian mainland and will join the straits between the Black and Azov seas. New investments are also planned in the development of infrastructure, tourism, towns and villages.
In contrast to the Crimea, where citizens have already felt relieved since the Russian citizenship will gradually increase pensions, improve conditions for entrepreneurs, job opportunities and security guarantees, “ pro-European " Ukraine continues beingin utter chaos dashing towards bankruptcy. “ The European Marshall Plan „is still not coming. Only harsh conditions set by the IMF, the U.S. and Brussels which the Coup Parliament and “the Ukrainian government " have to meet in order to get at least 14 to 16 billion dollars within the loan. Yes, loans, no financial help, they will have to work hard to pay it back, in particular ordinary citizens suffering from poverty.West and the U.S. have been pulling the leg of the Ukrainians for 5 months however, money is still not coming and the result is the continuing depreciation of the hryvnia against the dollar and euro (already about 50 %). Ukrainian tycoons or oligarchs who financed the coup and Majdan, such as a presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko are rather quiet. They rather not say anything about how to support the plundered state budget or failing health and pension systems. Neither Yulia Tymoshenko talks about her money, who was miraculously healed in Germany in two weeks, and took courage against Russia and Russians on the southeastern Ukraine. Her recipe for solving the economic collapse is simple - shoot the ethnic Russians and burn Russia. Mysteriously and suddenly Klitschko, a boxer, has remained silent as well, he is not calling for the early parliamentary elections or seizing the properties of Ukrainian oligarchs any more. According to the agreement with Poroshenko, he withdrew his candidacy from the presidential campaign and refocused his preferenceson the candidacy for the post of a mayor of Kiev ...
Though, it will still be “hot” in Kiev and western Ukraine, probably. Theright sector and nationalists from the Freedom movement do not want to put up with the people having been assigned to the posts of governors and in the government structures ensured by oligarchs and influential Khazars and Hasidims. Neither silence to the question of who hired the snipers to shoot“the revolutionaries " and who “hunted” “the police officers from Berkuta, indicates that American, British and Swedish consultants might already leave the country.
Please, let us not be deceived by Brussels. Pompous signing(initialed) of the political part of the Association Agreement with Ukraine in Brussels on March 21, 2014, is the greatest mockery not only for Ukraine but also for the citizens of the European Union. Without any disputes in the European Parliament or the wider debate at the level of governments and parliaments of the Member States, so- called“the EU leaders” dared to sign “the interim agreement " with “the Prime Minister "  of the illegitimate Ukrainian government. Only foreign ministers of the EU countries managed to “discus and approve” the contents of the political part (political dialogue, cooperation in defense and security policy and support for the reforms) but we still do not know whether unanimously or on the principle of two-thirds majority. Of course, the economic part of the agreement could not be signed because Ukraine is still in a free trade zone with Russia and CIS countries. Although Brussels cunningly and unilaterally abolished tariff barriers for the imports of Ukrainian products, on the other hand, it made life of producers in the European Union more complicated... and all in all it did not resolve anything, on the contrary, it made the situation even more complicated for Ukraine. How? For example, it provoked a storm of demonstrations in the south-east of Ukraine where ethnic Russians ask not only for the payment of pensions and wages, stopping persecution, but also calling for federalization of Ukraine. And what is essential - do not want to be “slaves and servants of the European Union and NATO. " Their natural let partner is not Brussels or the U.S., but Russia.
Let me remind that the part of the Association Agreement with Ukraine was signed exactly one month after signing the agreement between President Yanukovych and opposition leaders on resolving the political crisis ( 21 February 2014 ). However, this Agreement, fulfillment of which the foreign ministers of Poland, France and Germany undertook to guarantee on behalf of the EU, signing of the Association Agreement had not been mentioned at all. Somehow, this agreement hasbeen forgotten quickly without having to explain reasons for ignorance from the side of Brussels and the current Ukrainian authorities.
We also have another example - the Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, which is, according to the UNSCR still the part of Serbia. For the last 15 years, ithas been divided into four occupation zones and it has been suffering from the economic, social and cultural crisis for exactly the same time. Neither unilateral transformation into “the Republic of Kosovo“ in 2009, nor massive subsidies from international donors from West, the EU and the U.S.  helped such a plundered or defrauded state. The Republic is still under the international protectorate and military control of NATO, it is still the poorest region in Europe. And unlike the Crimea it not waiting any new and significant investments from the West, the U.S., the EU, or from Albania and Serbia. It's quite understandable if one considers that in terms of security and stability is unofficially in NATO and in the Eurozone.
Talking about the future of the Crimean Republic, this raises my question about the future of the regions in Slovakia. For several years,in this Central European country, people, municipalities, cities and regions havealways heard that there either little or no money at all ... Thisstate wants to be in the heart of the Eurozone, living mainly from value added tax from the European funds, municipalities, regions and cities from property taxes and share any Slovak citizenswould now be able to say when they last heard the phrase:“The Slovak government wants a long term and massive investment in the regional economic development." The current Prime Minister cannot even say such a sentence as it sounds very“rightist ". And who would then vote for the Social Democrats if the crowds of poor and unemployed people were eliminated? Politicians and patriots of a Russian type are still missed in Slovakia. But they are not in Hungary and Serbia, and therefore, they won the elections again. As it is said: Who works for the nation, the nation loves and supports. However, Slovaks must admit that Slovakia is not capable to plan and carry out its “MarshallPlan” for themselves and for their regions. I cannot imagine what would happen if the citizens of Trans Carpathian Ukraine (Ruthenia) announced a referendum and then they would like to join the Slovak Republic. Luckily, it's only fiction.
