Editorial
The European Union endangers the safety of its citizens
Instead of mobilizing its forces for the immediate protection of the external borders of the European Union and its Member States, finally militarily intervene against people smugglers and organized crime in terms of trafficking people and Schengen visa, we see endless monologues and summits, challenges and declarations. Their aim is not, however, the basic task of all tasks to be identified and implemented. And that is a common, straightforward, quick and uncompromising protection of the external borders of the European Union. This is exactly what almost every European citizen, every natural patriot who loves his/her country, Europe, its cultural and historical heritage expects. But what has been the result for example for over last six months? The European Union and its summits, which cost millions of euros, are unable to formulate even a common asylum and immigration policy. European bureaucrats, lobbyists, the European Commission and MEPs have even quantified, and also approved several billion euros in financial, technical and material assistance to the European security agencies, the governments of certain Member States and recognized refugees, but what has it solved? This so-called aid has been conditioned by mandatory quotas and violent redistribution of illegal immigrants between the Member States of the European Union. Such a policy is not a manifestation of the EU force or “European solidarity " to which also Poland refers as it betrayed forward-looking common and agreed action of Visegrad countries, but the policy of nasty dictate. To their credit, Finland abstained, and Romania voted against this dictate, too.

As confirmed by the further development, most national governments in the European Union, which were for “solidarity solution "did not realize that “quotas have resolved only paper issue of distribution of 160 000 illegal immigrants. How and who will finance them? And why will it be again at the expense of the living standards of other EU citizens who are caught up in the economic and social crisis? This governments somehow have missed the fact that point A is always followed by point B. While they were discussing the issue of redistribution of migrants, Al Jazeera Balkans and other TV stations reported that almost 800,000 people illegally and successfully came into the Schengen area... How will their redistribution be solved? Which ones are really war refugees, who are the social and economic migrants (parasites of social systems), which of them are criminals, deserters, war and religious fanatics? When will we know the exact statistics and the answers to these questions when the freedom of speech and expression in the EU changes dictated censorship?
In search for the answers to these questions, the August data from Germany might help us a bit. Among applicants for asylum (refugee status), there were only 32% of applicants from Syria, 28% were from the so-called the Republic of Kosovo, i.e. from the international protectorate under the protection of EU and NATO, and another 13% were from Albania. We may surely include other Albanians to this statistics, whom the German authorities registered as citizens of Serbia (6%), since they have Serbian passports. When we figure it out, nearly half of asylum applications have been filed mostly by Albanians. On the other hand, Angela Merkel and other so-called great EU leaders did not hesitate and hurried to declare that the list of safe countries in Europe that can accept “refugees "should be extended by Albania and so-called the Republic of Kosovo! To those states which are under the protection of NATO, they also added Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are not members of the alliance, although in terms of Montenegro, the membership is at the doorstep.
You may ask why the list of so-called safe countries in Europe has been extended by the other Balkan countries. The reason is simple. Germany cannot handle refugee crisis and Angela Merkel is facing harsh criticism for having opened the German “arms „to almost everyone. As further developments in organized crime and human trafficking prove, the smuggling map in Europe will be enlarged by a new route. Paradoxically, thanks to the Croatians who refused to close their borders. Partly, it has hit the Croatian Slavonia and it will certainly affect Slavonski Brod where a refugee camp for 10,000 people is being built at the moment. From there it will expand to the south to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska) and progress to the south of Dalmatia near Dubrovnik and Trebinje, and Montenegro. This route will be “in use” if the current route through Macedonia Gevgelija, Serbia's Presevo to Croatia, next to Slovenia, Austria and Germany will not be “profitable”. Of course, it is still unclear what will be with those illegal immigrants who do not obtain asylum, who will refuse to settle in the state dictated by the EU and who will be expelled. So far these migrants are "wandering” through the Serbian and Croatian corridors to Austria and Germany. But how long for? What will happen with them in the winter and spring?
It is also unclear how the European Union intends to handle the resistance of those illegal immigrants who will not be given asylum. Will the police and the army fight against them? How will they be deported and where? How do they want to persuade them to return home? From Germany to Austria? And who will pay their expulsion? Again, only the taxpayers of the Member States or the smuggling groups? And will they settle in camps in the Balkans that will be built there in the meantime?
If the European Union really followed its common sense and really thought of the safety of its citizens, the fight against terrorism, organized crime and the protection of European values, it would have already asked NATO for help. Is it really so difficult and complicated to order naval blockade against smugglers of Greek, Cypriot and Italian coasts? Or hermetically seal the borders of the EU and take an example from Hungary that rigorously guards its section of the Schengen border?
Over the years, we have heard about how NATO always supports the fight against terrorism and protect the zone of security, stability and peace in Europe. It appears that the migration of refugee or crisis in Europe resigned to security and stability in Europe. Russophobe Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, the docile defense ministers of NATO member states are more afraid of Russia. Putin allegedly threatens the Baltic States and their safety. They are afraid of Russia which has repeatedly offered the EU help in solving the problems of smugglers and refugees to Europe. It probably suits someone that the current EU mired in the refugee crisis. It conforms to someone that the EU is unable to find a solution and guarantee the security of citizens in the near future. Does it want to but is not able to? Or is it not able to and does not want to? The demonstration of inability Franco-British solutions to the refugee crisis in Calais at La Manche Bay, which has been lasting for 16 years, also confirms that the rhetoric of politically unstable and volatile F. Hollande and D .Cameron hide other interests and goals. Both Great Britain and France have been dropping this hot potato. However, we all pay the tax for private wars and the Arab Spring.
